November 6, 2009 4:33 am | #6In California at least, it is 18 for longarms and longarm ammunition, 21 for handguns and handgun ammunition. I’m not sure about the laws in other states.

November 6, 2009 6:37 am | #9“Assault rifles” are select-fire, and all automatics have been heavily regulated since 1934.”Assault weapon” is a meaningless term made up by anti-rights politicians for any regular single-fire rifle they think looks scary.Once they’re 50 years old, single-fire ARs and AKs will have C&R status, just like the Garand.
