Since Scooter was convicted of a felony, I assume his license to practice law is either gone or in the process of being gone.
Let’s say, as many people suspect, that Bush grants Scooter a full pardon on Bush’s last day in office in January 2009 and Scooter’s license is gone by that time.

Yes—a pardon is as though it never happened.
your criminal record is erased for all legal purposes.
But scooter won’t be practicing law–he will be a “consultant” hired by Law firms to help them or hired by people to help move their bills through congress.
Both will pay better anyway.
