Medical school takes approx. 7 to 8 + years. As an alternative, would it be a better idea for someone to learn a skill (electrician, etc) or customer service (home inspector, carpet cleaning, etc) for a couple of years and then open their own contracting business?

Starting a non-profit organization for teen drivers?

Okay, so last Saturday I attended a free Defensive Driving course being put on by a non-profit organization based out of Nevada.
Prior to the start of the course, the President of the organization stood up in front of all of the participants and their parents and delivered a great, heartfelt speech discussing how teens these days need more real-life education in a controlled environment than what traditional Driver’s Education can provide.
As cliche as it may sound, when I heard this speech and got a chance to hear the group’s mission statement, it honestly “hit home.”
In fact, I am so motivated by this group’s dedication to saving lives that I, too, am very interested in starting up a similar organization. Unfortunately, however, I am only a high school student at this time.
Is it still possible for me to start up an non-profit organization with a mission very similar to the one of www.DriversEdge.org (the organization I am inspired by)? If so, how do I go about creating it?

I’ve had an entrepreneur spirit for a while and I think I know what I want to do now. I want to start a defensive driving school on Saturdays. After that is established, I would start a behind-the-wheel class. I already know how to market the business. I think I need to start by going to the DMV and getting information and getting certified. What else do I need to know about this business and about running a small business?

I am opening a small retail store in my hometown. I have managed business’ before but I have never had to start from scratch and do all of the small things it takes to open one myself. Planning on opening a virtual school offering training a specialized training program for preschool staff in Florida. To do such I need either to be accredited or licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education. I want to know which is the better option. Also, I don’t have a business address – for classes will be offered online – can this be done? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

is it true that from next week i wont be able to drive unless i have a full licenced driver beside me, how am i soppose to drop my little one to school

Would it be wise to attend a technical school at the same time for my electrical license? I currently work at an electrical company that is already reimbursing for the college courses and may possibly pay for the tech school as well
