of resisting arrest with violence instead of going to trial taking 3 years probation instead when you feel you were not guilty but are being told you have five years prison to face if you lose, you are 20 years old and were on ten different medications prescribed by detox doctor just started that week when the occurence occured due to trepassing with gf at a pool in an apartment complex officer was just going to give out trespassing warning but son got scared and knocked over chair and ran home where he was met by the canine unit which bit him causing him to flail his arms to fight it off getting charges of assualting officers etc, now he his a felon with life ruined on job prospects can this be overturned somehow? We think it could have been won with trial and maybe just drug treatment inpatient a possibility which would have been better then a felony any thoughts? Many I speak too can’t believe he took the felony charge and he was on all those meds at that time of the court hearing.
He had an attorney who was given and shown the prescribed list of medications he had just begun that very week which I feel was overwhelming to a 20 year old, prozac, suboxone, clonapin, atenolol, clonidine, hydrocodone, naproxen, allergy tablet and minocycline for acne
