Here the deal..My son has been going to court for the past year and half almost two years I paid this lawyer $6,000 for the case the trial was tuesday I called the lawyer and he never answered the phone it was about 10am, a little bit after I made the phone call the state revealed to me that he was working under a suspended license and it was suspended for two years..next the judge tells me that I have to have a lawyer by the following tuesday, what should I do I am confused and don’t have more money to spend on a lawyer and I dont want to hire a lawyer that works for the state because of different reasons…Any help

I purchased a used car from a dealer. After I got the car home, there were some problems, so I took it to the other dealer and imagine my surprise when they tell me that the car had been in an accident that wasn’t disclosed at the time of purchase. What can I do? I already filed a complaint with BBB and Department of Consumer Affairs, with no response. HELP PLEASE???

I’m asking the CA court for permission to move out of state for financial reasons. I have joint custody: our daughter lives with me and sees dad every other weekend.
My ex’s attorney has filed a request for a court appointed Forensic Psychologist. What will this mean? What will the forensic psychologist do?
And what does it mean to open up a “Discovery” in Family Law?

Is he allowed to have my judgment dismissed even though I won due to his committing fraud, and breaking 3 laws in the process? Also, after I won based on the merits of the case, he tossed hundreds of nails in my driveway and threw a gallon of white paint on my fence and gate. Then the guy had the nerve to file an appeal. At the appeal, the judge increased the judgment because of his (nail and paint) actions plus the fact that he found that he performed the work without a license, (actually he did it under the license of a person who had already died, which I didn’t know during the first case, it only came up in preparation for the appeal).
I received a notice yesterday that he has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. I understand that in bankruptcy you can have money you owe dismissed or discharged, but when you break the law in the way he did, is that also allowed to be discharged as well? That seems to be unfair that someone could willingly violate the law and then just have the judgment discharged.
Any help would be appreciated.

My son was @ recess and a tree branch went thru his eyelid. they took him by ambulance to hospital. long story short we have insurance but what ever they didnt cover, the school is telling us we are responsible for the remainder of the bill? does that sound right? I dont think so..There shouldnt of been branches hanging at eyelevel on play grounds.
