I got a speeding ticket in Florida. I was driving 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. It’s a $200 fine and I believe 3 points on a Florida license. I am from New Jersey and am wondering if points transfer to out of state licenses?

ok here’s the problem… I live in a house that has had an addition put on – a building permit was properly opened…the house is in Putnam County NY..
the house passed the rough electrical inspection- although an elec. license was never shown, the house still passed – it’s coming time for me to get the “CofO” and the final elec. inspection- if the house passed the rough without a license – what are the chances it will pass the final??? as a follow up to this question if the house passed the rough why would it not pass the final? some have told me that I will have to start over and get a licensed person to do all the work…

I’ve got a bachelor’s degree in business management (not a political science degree, I know, but I can make it work). I wanted to go to law school after graduation, but I can’t afford it just yet and I’d like to keep my mind sharp and my priorities straight in the time between now and when I actually attempt to get accepted to law school.
Truth is, I don’t even know where to start. What should I study for? What will help me when attempting entry to law school? Advice? Thanks so much!

I just recently moved to California from New Mexico and my license was suspended there. I still have the actual Driver’s License, however, and I am wondering if it will be possible to get a California driver’s license or if they are connected. If being suspended in New Mexico does mean I should also be suspended in California, are they networked or do they otherwise check your license status in another state if you have an apparently valid driver’s license. I know its legal for a home owner occupant to do the plumbing and the electrical. I’m a landlord. I don’t live in the home, but I own it. I want to go in and buy the permit. Yes, I understand the work is supposed to be done by a licensed electrician, that’s not my question. CAN THE PROPERTY OWNER BUY A CITY ELECTRICAL PERMIT? Thanks.

this is actually a really hard question for me to write because its quite hard to explain
My best friend ‘amy’ is being harassed by her math teacher ‘jack’. Its not harassment in the aggressive sense. Jack is a lovely man , so kind and helpful , in his late 30’s not especially good looking but a wonderful father figure type. Lately he has been showing alot of interest in amy , now at first this didn’t bother her , it was just brushing past in the corridors etc but then he started asking her to his office and they have been having rendezvous of such. It hasn’t gone further than kissing so she claims but when we were out clubbing the other week she had a few drinks and implied that more had happened.
Amy is 17, nearly 18 btw and in her A2 year in 6th form so its not like she is a young girl. The thing is people don’t seem to understand the fact that she doesn’t want to get him into trouble. I sympathize because i was taught by this guy and he is so nice but this really has to stop. She isn’t sure how to explain to him that she doesn’t feel like that towards him and this cant go on. I also understand this. It is very easy to say ‘go tell a parent or trusted teacher’ but Jack would loose his job because even though the age of consent is 16 in the UK he still has a duty of care. The other problem is that if she breaks it off she is worried about him falling out with her and not helping her with her course work or worse if some on found and he gets sacked having to go to her other awful maths teacher who really doesn’t like her , which would result in her getting a lesser grade and she needs her grades (AAB) to do Law at university next year.
My question is ; how can she deal with this? Can she break it off gently ? What if this doesn’t work? If this comes out it will explode and it will be even more stress on her at a stressful time. She also doesn’t want to get jack into trouble , he doesn’t really deserve that. I know that if this came out it would be really hard on her , how would the 6th form react?

I filed my taxes Jan 20th. The IRS delayed them and then earlier this week gave me a code saying 1201. I called and they said that they were reviewing them. Now today I checked and they gave me a code saying 1221. What does this mean specifically and what should I do?

Question about a California State driving law?

i heard last year that California was going to pass a law that said people born 1993 and younger couldn’t get their license until they turn 18, but they can have their permit. I was wondering if it was true because i’m 15 and was born in 1993 and i really want to get my license… Is this law in affect right now?
