Can An Attorney Father Refuse To Pay Court Order Child Support & Keep His Law License?
Father paid extra support the last few years & then decides to stop paying for the next two years because he feels he overpaid. Doesn’t that extra support considered as a gift? He never paid the court order medical for 16 years. Can he refuse to pay the next two years without any warning or notice? (I live in Nevada & father lives in Florida. I’ve currently moved the order to Nevada for enforcement)

What is wrong with you! Most women barely get any support, your ex pays you extra and you complain that it’s not enough? Sounds to me like you blew all the extra money and now you want more. Child support is only a gift if it does not go through the system in florida. I pay my ex extra and it counts toward the next payment, that’s the way it works. I feel bad for the kid; being raised by a welfare mom, now he thinks it’s okay to live off of handouts instead of getting a real job and carry his or her own weight.

I’d report him or just call your local Attorney Generals Office! Alot of attorneys think they have power considering they’re helpful to people who need them!!
